Contestant Horacio in the “Tag Team Challenge” episode of MasterChef: Generations
Tag Team Challenge
In the first of the two Masterchef: Generations episodes aired, contestant Jeet Kaur Sawant was optimistic about her chances, having reached the top twelve. The episode featured a tag team challenge, where pairs of contestants had to cook four dishes representing different generations. Jeet was paired with Adam, but their team struggled with communication and timing. The judges harshly criticized their dishes, citing undercooked mushrooms, overcooked tuna, a broken sauce, and thick crêpes. Due to these issues and a perceived lack of leadership, Jeet and Adam's team finished last, leading to Jeet's elimination from the competition.
Storms A Brewin
In the second episode of the night, the contestants were challenged to create a dish using coffee in two ways within 45 minutes. After a demonstration by Gordon Ramsay, Michael and Kimberly, previous winners, added a twist by selecting three strong competitors to make coffee-based desserts. Kamay won the challenge with a Coffee-Rubbed Lamb Chop, while the bottom dishes included Rebecka's Coffee Custard Crinkle Cake, Adam's Coffee Panna Cotta, and Daniela's Coffee-Crusted Chicken Breast. Daniela was ultimately eliminated.
